2025 Comes to a Close with a Bang

Dear Friends,

2025 has been an eventful year for the Museum of Teaching and Learning (MOTAL). Our move into a new space afforded us more space to make new friends and welcome long-time supporters. We are eternally grateful to all of our friends from this year and years past. Without your ongoing support, MOTAL would not have been able to become bolder, bigger, and better.

This year we saw the return of old favorites and launched new programs as well.

  • We saw the return of the Celeb Salon dinner speaker series with author Janice Munemitsu who shared stories of her ancestors’ amazing cultural connections to SoCal history
  • Hundreds of visitors continued to praise Baby’s Brain at this year's Fullerton’s Day of Music
  • We launched the first "Who Knew" Speaker series with Linda Cox
  • Additionally, we funded 2 Doll Scholar Internships and helped the next generation of museum professionals begin their professional training
